Compost RVA’s goal is to make composting as common as throwing things into the trash for all Virginians, enabling us to think before we waste.

About Bruno

While working at 1 N. Belmont Restaurant in 2007, Bruno started composting due to an immense amount of waste the restaurant created. Fast forward to 2013 at Feast RVA. Bruno won a grant to teach composting to students around Central Virginia, and leave them with a composting system, and Compost RVA was born.

Composting doesn't have to be complicated. It's as simple as understanding how our own bodies digest certain materials, and then realizing that composting is a digestive process.
